Palazzo Vecchio Small-Group Tour: The Medici Power Story

1 hour

Easy

Experience the grandeur of Palazzo Vecchio - a testament to Medici opulence, where art and architecture converge to showcase Florence's transformation and the enduring legacy of power.

Walk into Palazzo Vecchio and finally understand what you are looking at.

Instead of moving through impressive rooms without context, you will follow one clear story: how the Medici transformed Florence from a republic into their court and used art, architecture and symbols to display their power.

With a licensed guide, you will explore the Hall of the Five Hundred and the main Medici rooms, discover the personalities behind the palace and learn how to recognise the political messages hidden in its decoration.

The tour is designed for travellers who want more than facts. You will leave knowing why Palazzo Vecchio mattered, how the Medici changed the city and what the palace reveals about ambition, image and control.

The group is limited to eight travellers, so you can ask questions, interact with your guide and enjoy a more personal visit.
